Alrighty so I intended to major in Mechanical Engineering at Cal, however my grades suck and I got rejected from the department. I am currently taking the semester off and at community college back home. Now deciding if I should go back to Berk and finish up a Physics degree OR transfer to SDSU and get a mechanical degree. I plan on getting a mechanical masters after undergrad, and I really do want to do mechanical vs physics but I'm just wondering what the better option would be???

Option 1 PHYSICS at Cal then MechE masters at unknown

Will getting a physics degree at a better undergrad then masters in mechanical land me a decent mechanical job?

I feel like I'll be missing out on a lot of the more hands on fun courses.

Option 2 MechE at SDSU then MechE masters at unknown

Will getting undergrad mechanical degree at sdsu land me a decent job?

WHICH OPTION WILL GET ME A BETTER JOB IF ANY OF THIS MATTERS????????????????

ADVICE NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!
