You don't look so average to me. You are a junior, I assume? What courses have you taken this year and will be taking next year? If you are a superstar student taking truly difficult courses, APs for instance in the maths and sciences, competitive premed programs are a good consideration. If you are not, you might want to consider smaller schools that will nurture you and support you in your med school quest. Schools where the grading curve is not steep and there are not hundreds/thousands of cut throat premeds all competing for the colleges support for med school app.

You should check out USC's med program.

For the record - you're above average :)

cptofthehouse: yeah im a junior. im taking all honors course except im taking ap stat and i took ap calc ab in soph yr. i would have taken ap chem and other ap sciences except my counselor told me i had to take a study hall when i moved to the school after my freshman yr. if not the study hall, i would have taken chem, and eventually ap chem this yr, but what can i do =/

nxt yr im taking ap bio, ap psych, ap euro, ap calc bc (just for the 5 - possible credit in future).

pekingnese09: thanks for the advice =)
