I can't find the medical school acceptance rate for smith alumnae.
Does anyone know the rate?

Back when my aunt graduated in '86, the acceptance rate was about 80%, far above national average...

With rare exceptions, virtually all of the applicants to med school from top colleges get in somewhere, and if they don't in the year of application, they do a year later. The trick is how to pay for it.

The bigger question is who gets to apply. Are there "weed-out" courses along the way? Is there a med-school application committee that screens out potential applicants? Is there ongoing support for "pre-health" students from day one or is the idea to get rid of half of them as quickly as possible? At all colleges, when you get to questions like these, you really have to kick the tires.
