Hey guys, I am a upcoming senior in high school and i have a SAT score of 2020 and SAT Chem score of 780, SAT Math 2 score of 770 and SAT USH score of 740.
My unweighted GPA is 3.81 and weighted GPA is 4.16 and i have gotten score of 5 on my AP chem, stats and us history tests.
I do a lot of extra curricular stuff like debate, mock trial and model un (where i am president of all 3 and successful at the county level)

Do you guys think it would be better for me to go to school at UCSD or at UCLA? I am leaning towards SD but i have heard that the LA Med school is slightly better. Will it make a big difference if i apply to the LA med school from SD as opposed to LA and vice versa?

So any suggestions as to where i should go because i am pretty confident that i will get into both the schools.

It really doesnt matter where you do your undergrad for med school ,although it might help some if your were to go to UCLA and went applied to their med school but maybe not

Your undergrad school plays no big role in med school admission.

You should not even be thinking about which med school you want to go at this point, you’re not even in college yet (not to mention most applicants don’t get to pick and choose where they want to go to med school). Hell, you shouldn’t even be thinking about med school, period.

The most important thing for you to do is to pick a college where you’ll be happy, and make sure you do well there.

between the two, there is no difference - both provide a top tier education. Go to the college where you can maximize your gpa and enjoy yourself for four years.
