Med School Admissions

I know medical school admissions can be a hot topic for those considering Rhodes. I just saw this and thought it might be of value to some:

Eighty-six percent of Rhodes graduates with a GPA greater than 3.4 and an MCAT score greater than 57 percent have been accepted to medical school over the last five years.

@Moonshot99 I was wondering why med school is a hot topic for those considering Rhodes? Could you elaborate? Thanks!

Rhodes draws many pre-med students. It has new science facilities and good faculty. Additionally, Rhodes has exceptional connections with the local medical commmnity in Memphis including St Jude’s Hospital for Children.

I got admission to class of 2025. I am looking to major in Bio and be part of pre-med advising track.

How supportive is the pre-med track in MCAT prep, med-school applications? Do they assist in finding clinical, research opportunities?
