med school and English classes

Do I need to take "real" english classes like English R1a and COlwrit r4b
or can I just take another class like African American Studies R1A????
What would the medical schools see? Would they look down on me
if I took some other english course???

If they look down on you, then go kick their ass.

Since med schools don't even care what you majored in, I don't think they will care about the emphases of your composition/writing classes as long as they entail writing and critical reading.

counselors recommend you save the course syllabus from the English classes you take in case there is a dispute or the med school requires some sort of evidence.

im sure we can substitute our english ap credits for these requirements though rite? im talking about ap english language and the ap english lit exams

med schools dont usually like ap/ib credit... its also highly unrecommended...
