Med school prep :)

Hi :D I'm currently a rising sophomore at Brown university and it is my dream to go to Harvard med school. I realize that this is a very high goal so I would be very thankful to go to any top med school (UPenn, Hopkins, etc.). I finished my first year with a 3.86 GPA which I'm hoping to bring up to a 3.9 over the next 3 years. So far I have taken Genchem 2 (I placed out of genchem 1), second semester calculus, an FYS on evolutionary medicine, a computers and music class, intro bio, orgo 1, an astronomy class, and a Shakespeare class. I got A's in every class except Genchem 2 (I don't want to talk about it haha). This summer I'm doing biochem research in a lab here at Brown which will continue through the school year. As far as extracurriculars go, I am in the Brown wind symphony and I'm very involved in a dance team. I also work at hollister. My main concern is that I haven't really done too much community service because I was so busy with everything else last year so I'm going to get involved with something this year. Does anybody have any suggestions of things I can do to enhance my application? I plan on studying abroad in Australia for a semester during my junior year which might interfere with my MCAT study plans but I think it's an opportunity that I just can't pass up. I realize that it's hard to give advice because I haven't taken the MCAT yet but I would REALLY appreciate any tips that anybody could give me about preparing for med school. Thanks so much! :)
