Med school student

I'm currently a first year medical student but I'm looking to get out of it and into something else. The unique thing about my situation is I still have not received my bachelors degree from my undergrad college because I applied to both med school and undergrad in a 6 year straight-through program.

I'm interested in going back to undergrad and study business or economics but it looks like many of the top schools want transfer students to complete a good amount of business/stat/math/economics courses either as a requirement or as an indicator of the student's determination to transfer into that school.

In my situation, is it feasible to transfer into a totally different major? Also, if I wanted to apply to undergrad business school, would I have to transfer and then apply to business school at a later time?

lol i can’t help you, but YAY! another person who’s transferring out of a straight med. good for yoU!

You should look into MD/MBA? perhaps if you still have interest in staying in med school

I the medical school that I am currently attending offers an MD/MBA program but I am not interested in the program. I’m looking to go back to strictly study economics/business.
