A colleague of mine (teacher) taught English in Thailand through Media Kids. I don’t know when, but I do know that she absolutely loved it and said that it was the best thing she ever did.

I don’t know if it was Media Kids or not, but our family knows two recent college grads who are both teaching English in South Korea to school kids.

They both seem pretty happy in South Korea, are making money & paying off their loans and have made a lot of friends, too.

My niece is in Korea teaching english and is having a ball. She graduated from college in the winter. She is writing a blog that is hysterical about her experiences. You can find it at maygunteacha.blogspot.com.
It appears a great way to make some money, travel, and to be a fish out of water. Megan is brunette, and blue eyed, and has had funny experiences of even stopping traffic. She is often told she is “so pretty”, and “so white”. For a kid who grew up in the Pacific Northwest where there are few minorities this has been such an eye opener.
