So I'm a media studies major and I am thinking about minoring in computer science. Yes, the two are very different and I could possibly die with such a technical minor.

Don't think I don't know what I am getting into. I've been really interested in learning about CS but never really considered it as a academic route because of such intimidating rigor the classes have, but I've done my research.

With that said I am finishing off an internship doing digital strategy for an interactive agency. I do stuff on the business/strategy side. However, I also work with a lot of engineers who have background in CS so I've gotten some insight from them that make me even more interested in the discipline.

SOOOO, I'm just wondering how useful a CS minor is for someone who is more business-oriented in the internet/tech industry.

AND if I am really kidding myself if I want to take CS61 with absolutely no CS/programming experience whatsoever. I hear that there's a lot of struggle in the first few weeks (understandable) but that it is doable.

Thoughts/Advice??
