Median Grading for Transfers

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I am an incoming transfer to Cornell CALS. As I researched grading system at CU, I came upon the fact that transfer students had not been not affected by the median grading system. </p>

<p>What does it mean for us? We will not have median grade for the class on our transcript?
Does it give us any advantage?</p>

<p>This was only for those transfer students in the Class of 2011. The change was meant to put the median grade issue for co2011 transfer students in line with all else in the co2011.</p>

<p>It means you should work hard and try to get the highest GPA possible. To be honest, I really don’t think this policy will make a significant difference.</p>
