Looks like everyone should be a Physician Assistant.

holy poop! What type of a degree do you need to be a phys. assistant?

Requires more time than standard undergrad program folks.

The article says that these are careers you can do with a bachelors degree, but all the physicians assistants I know have masters degrees. I’m not sure if you can get that with a bachelors or not, but I don’t think so. Some of the others are iffy too, IMHO.

The typical PA program is 24-32 months long and requires at least four years of college and some health care experience prior to admission. The majority of students have a BA/BS degree and prior health care experience before admission to a PA program.
While all programs recognize the professional component of PA education with a document of completion for the professional credential ¶, 79 percent of the programs award a master’s degree. [112 award master’s degrees, 21 award bachelor’s degree, 3 award associate degrees, and 5 award certificates.

Note that if youre in the 90th percentile of whatever major you are, you make almost a 100 grand year.

100 grand isn’t bad at all.

I seriously doubt this. For the majority of majors, experience (from internship, co-op, volunteering, etc) is at least as important as your grades.

not 90 percentile of your major’s gpa, 90 percentile of starting pay of your major

90th percentile of your mid career is 100 grad.
not the starting pay.

My mom’s a P.A.!

I don’t know what her starting salary was but I know she makes well over 6-figures now.

i know a few PA’s and they all went to school for 5 years and then got a job right after. you are pretty much doing all teh work of a regular physican but getting paid much less.

that article is ridiculous. there is no way you can determine just by major how much people make.

Please explain why you feel you can’t determine that.
