Medical Anthropology

I have always been torn between a more traditional pre-med curriculum and something oriented around public health. After looking up some stuff about U Mich., I found out that their Anthropology Dept. is ranked number 1 in the nation (US News). In addition, I found a joint program that they have established called "Medical anthropology." I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Anthropology dept. at Michigan or more specifically the Medical Anthropology program. By the way, I am currently planning of double majoring in a Biology related major and medical anthropology in order to get a more well-rounded knowledge of medicine before med school.

here are a couple websites to help you guys out if you are not familiar.
