<p>Virginia Tech does not have a school of allopathic medicine. It does, however, have a school of veterinary medicine, and it is affiliated with the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.</p>

<p>I don't know where it ranks among the 20 or so osteopathic medical schools, but I don't think it matters. The D.O. degree seems to be the bastard stepchild of the M.D., and most osteopathic medical colleges seem to be affiliated with completely unknown schools. I can't really get into the differences between the D.O. and the M.D., but you could probably research the differences on wikipedia or something.</p>
