Hi, my sister wants to be a medical major. She's a sophomore, and I'm thinking that it would be best for her to take some SAT II's. My question is this: what SAT II's should she take in science (Biology E/M, Physics, Chemistry)? I'm thinking about having her take Biology M and Chemistry. What do you guys think?

if you are considering such majors as biology, chemistry, bioengineering, pharmacy, nursing and some others relating to the medical are, and also considering one or more of the minority of colleges that require or recommend SAT subject tests, then the best combination of subject tests to take is a math (preferably math 2) and a science of your choice from biology, chemistry, or physics, Some of the colleges even require that combination for engineering or science related majors.

Only few colleges require SAT IIs. She’s better off prepping for ACT or SAT. Much more useful. If later, some target schools require SAT IIs (again, VERY few), then she can look into it. Right now, as a sophomore – she should be readying herself for PSAT and the harder Jr and Sr year coursework and how to maintain/achieve top GPA.

Thanks for the tips guys really appreciate it :)
