I was wondering how many of the students who apply to any medical school from Boston College undergrad are accepted. Are there any sites to find these statistics?

while its a reasonable question, there is no consistent answer across undergrad colleges since every college massages their numbers.

Allopathic, osteopathic, carribbean?

Apply after Junior year, or after completing a master’s?

Apply while an undergrad, or with 5+ years of top-notch lab resarch?

Count only those with a Committee Recommendation? (Holy Cross & Hopkins will not recommend someone that they do not think worthy, which artificially boosts their %.)

The point is what goes into the denominator, what goes into the numerator?

We just attended the Admitted Eagle Day and a very thorough presentation on BC’s pre-med advisory program. I don’t remember the exact stats they discussed, but I think you’ll be able to find answers to a lot of your questions at their website which is [Health Professions Home - Premedical and Predental Program - Boston College](http://www.bc.edu/schools/cas/premed/)
