Where I can find the number of students admitted into US medical schools by a University?
Why do you want to know this?
There is no reliable source for this type of information.
Plus the exact number of students admitted from a specific undergrad undoubtedly changes from year-to-year.
Some medical schools will list this on their websites. You will have to do the research for each school you are interested in.
What none of them tell you is yield… how many they had to accept in order to fill seats. I’m not sure why they are not more transparent. They show applicants and seats, but not acceptance rate.
These charts are missing colleges which have less than 50 applicants in a college in 2019. It also does not provide how many got in from a specific college, only how many total. The totals can include someone who graduated from there 20 years ago if they applied now.
This is primarily for MD schools. DO schools may have similar statistics.
Large schools would have more applicants hence more number of acceptances. Smaller schools have less students in all 4 years than large schools in one year. To get a better picture, look up total freshman enrollment numbers to get a better idea of real percentage. Often schools report high acceptance rates but don’t mention 80% of those weeded out early, not supported by counseling and include numbers of not only MD admits but dental, DO, Physiotherapist etc as well.
