Life isn’t fair. To be honest AA got me to Michigan. But i try not to think about it. If it helps me so be it. It’s something I can’t control.

The funny thing about AA is that it is suppose to make us equal, but it does the opposite.

"I know of a non-URM with a 3.91 and a 35 MCAT "

-Exactly. My D. had 3.98/35 and did not get invited to interview at Michigan. She was not bitter at all. Just another little fact of life. As I have mentioned, if your list is smart, you are still in control. Do not worry about locked doors, enter thru the ones that are wide open. Life is not fair, it was not meant to be fair. When there is an attempt to make it “fair” and “equal” to everybody, life actually gets equally misearble for everybody. It has been tried at many places in a world and failed. Something to keep in mind to appreciate more what we got here.

Entertainer,
Verbal was my D’s weakest also. Many here advise to use Examcrackers for verbal. It is supposed to be the best. D. did not use it, though, so I do not know details. She read some Economist, but it did not help much. She basically got lucky to get her best practice Verbal score on her real exam. It does not happen very often.
