I am really confused about which major i should get in

i like both fields

i heard after 6 years of pharmacy school then applying for a master degree in chemistry Work part time and make 60+k a year while going to school then Apply for another grad school at age 25 for Master's in Chemical Engineering ... after this i can open a retail pharmacy plus working in a good position in a company !! is it true ?!!

i like medical school too but the burdens are the long studying period plus the loans! :/

& is being a pharmacist is just about counting pills ? i dont wanna spent the rest of my life counting pills -_-

I don’t know if I’m reading your post correctly, but you seem to be a bit misinformed on the pharmacy education portion. The road to getting a pharmD is generally 6 to 8 years (undergrad + pharmD). You don’t need a masters in chemistry or chemical engineering after to practice pharmacy. Opening an independent retail pharmacy requires business sense, tons of time, a bunch of money for start-up costs, marketing skills, the ability to compete with the established chains, etc. It’s possible, but not for the light-hearted. Owning a business is beyond a full-time job until you are well-established enough and trusting enough to find someone to help you out. Here’s an interesting thread (different forum) about what it takes to start up your own independent pharmacy: [My Pharm Start Up Blog.
My best advice for figuring out what each of these professions is like and if you want to commit to them as a career is to shadow. Shadow different professionals in different practice settings to get an idea of what each career entails. Reading online can get you some information, but it’s much different than actually experiencing what it’s like. Both are a big time and $ commitment, so you’ll want to be sure you know what you’re getting into.

i saw this in a topic here but was long time ago

Finish PharmD in 6 years

Apply for another grad school at age 24 for a Master’s in Chemistry

Work part time and make 60+k a year while going to school.

Apply for another grad school at age 25 for Master’s in Chemical Engineering

5. Continue normal routine and work part time so you never pay a loan

is this true ??! and if i have retail pharmacy … can i work in a medicine company too ? working in both jobs same time? and what jobs i can do if i have PharmD + Master’s in Chemistry + Master’s in Chemical Engineering ?

I guess you could do that, but I don’t know why you’d want to… especially if you don’t know what sort of job that would lead to in the first place. I’d talk to a career counselor at your school to see if they can help you figure it out.
