I am an incoming sophomore at Florida State, and I was wondering what my chances were of getting into medical school, assuming that I stay on the path that I currently am on.
- Biochemistry major (although I might change to Biology), and planning on minoring in Psychology
-I have a 3.7 GPA
-I am involved in a science, math, and engineering program for women, - I started paid research on the tradeoffs between capsid stability and viral growth in two different genotypes in January and I am planning on staying in that lab for the rest of my time at FSU
- I am in the Honors program
- on the right track to being a garnet and gold scholar before graduation
- I attended a week long seminar this summer aimed at leading with integrity and being the best possible leader
- My first year, I held a secretarial position on the Hall Government.
What I am planning to do this year:
- travel, maybe study abroad next summer
- Volunteer in the campus clinic
- Maybe get an internship, assuming I have time.
- Join a medical club
Let me know what you think, or if any of these will help me, what will not, and what I should start focusing on!
