I'm interested in studying medicine post-college especially at JHU or Penn. JHU med school is most competitive and tends to accept a lot of its own undergraduates and students from well known institutions.

I want to apply to Grinnell, but I was wondering if Grinnell had enough name recognition with top medical schools. I know Grinnell students are very successful with graduate schools, but how many are accepted to top northeastern med schools?

Grinnell has A LOT of name recognition at all top graduate, law, medical and professional schools. Don’t worry about it.

This is not exactly on point, but you may find the following Youtube video interesting. It is about an "02 Grinnell grad doing her medical residency at Johns Hopkins.
