medical summer programs?

Are there any summer programs for highschoolers looking for a future career in the medical field?

There are many, although the deadlines for this summer’s programs have long passed.

What sort of program are you looking for? (Internship, research, courses, etc.) Any other details/preferences that might be helpful (cost, length, location, etc.)

i need help on this too. im want to go medical’ and i really want to know what medical summer programs would be good for me in the following years of highscchool. i am a rising 9th grader and planning for my future… (: please helpp!!! thankkss

im lookin for a free internships or research opportunities. i am unsure about what type of medical career i want so i wanted to expand my views

try and email biochem professors at local universities to see if they have space in their labs. med schools love research-savvy students.

You should look into the NIH SIP, TTU’s Clark Scholars Program, RSI, SUNY’s Simon Fellowship (although I don’t think that one’s free), and there are a bunch more that I cba to dig up out of the CC archives. Go play around with the “Search” feature on this site, I know there’s a lot more free science/medical/research stuff floating around from a few months ago. (Also, there was a list someone compiled somewhere, too, but of course I never saved the link and CC mods never sticky stuff in this subforum).

That really helped. I’ll work on looking up some more programs. Thanks for all your input!!
