This is a question for current or former medical turnbacks. Have you received your letter from the Academy yet? My son thought it is to arrive in March - the letter that he will need to sign stating that he is planning on returning. Also, does anyone know if he will have his same PO Box as he did last year?

We're in the same boat so there are at least two of us out here awaiting an answer. Son Mike thought he'd see the letter in mid Feb because he beleives that he has to reply by March 1st....

Dknightfam and soaringhi -

Pulling for both of you. This is a big family - remember that!

Dknightfam - good to hear from you, long time no post! I know, I'm quiet, too.

Just wondering, any medical turnback letters yet - as of Feb 23, 2008?

I'm a medical turnback and as I was searching around the internet for any information I could find, I found this...

Back in October I remember receiving something asking if I still intended to return, I signed it and mailed it back. It was only one or two sheets long with an envelope enclosed. Since then I haven't received anything telling me when in-processing is or if I got a new PO Box #.

I'm almost as anxious as I was when I was waiting for the acceptance packet.

The October letter is all that my son has received. While in squadron 41 last summer, my son talked to 2 degree who was helping with medical turnbacks. He was also a medical turnback the first time around. He said that a letter should be arriving in March which will have to be signed that states your intentions of either returning or declining your appointment. We'll post here as soon as my son receives his letter. DKnightfam is in the same boat. If we find out anything new, we'll post it here. Take care and we look forward to being with the class of 2012
