I'm currently a freshman at the S.I. Newhouse school of public communications at Syracuse University. While Newhouse is really awesome, everything else just isn't for me, and I'm taking a hard look at transferring.
My question is, how difficult would it be to transfer to Medill? I didn't get in when I applied last year, most likely because my HS grades weren't amazing (3.6/3.7 with big upward trend, but I did get a 31 on the ACT), and I didn't give a very good effort on my supplement essay, knowing I wouldnt get in.
Considering Newhouse is along with Medill and Mizzou, among the "big 3" J-Schools, what kind of GPA would I need to have a shot at transferring? After experiencing college for a couple months, I think I know a lot more about what kind of school fits me best, and I really think NU is the place

thanks
