I go to a Long Island public high school, and as many probably know, Long Island is a very competitive region for the top colleges and is known to have some of the best public high schools. However, my particular high school isn’t good at all, and has far less resources than some of the other good ones. Therefore, when I apply to college, will the adcoms consider this factor, or will they just see that I am an applicant from Long Island?
