I’m guessing that I know a lot more people on CC than I think I do, but it’s hard to tell because it’s pretty anonymous. But when you look at some clues like their location the stats that they post about themselves, sometimes you can figure out who they are. One person I found happened to be one of my best friends, and another person I found is in one of my classes but I don’t know him very well (and I don’t even know if I correctly identified him but it’s pretty obvious he goes to the same school). There are also people I know that look at CC but don’t post anything and aren’t registered.

I haven’t met anyone that I first met on CC, but that would be awesome if that happened.

^ haha there is a picture on facebook. If you’re in the old CC group there I can post it up

^^^ I was going to be in Cambridge anyway for a concert (which I didn’t get to see because the guitarist broke his collar bone and the band has since broken up =[ ), and I asked xrCalico if I could crash in a lounge or something at Harvard in case there wasn’t a train back to Providence afterward, and then we were able to get TYiL, Mifune, and this other guy whose name I forget to come, so I guess it was just convenient. We tried to get Millancad and AeroEngineer3141 also if anyone remembers them, which would have been sick, but they couldn’t come

I don’t believe I’ve met anyone whom I knew from CC. But some who knew vaguely of my alias have met me (more often known to them via their parents, actually) – such as students at my high school and some in college, though it came up exceedingly rarely at the latter.

I’ve been told some amusing tales of interactions between peers from my high school and those who know me from CC, who brought up my alias when they heard the high school name. How these people know where I went to high school eludes my willing speculation.

Yeah, he’s attending college in Europe now. He prefers it to Harvard but still wants to transfer to an American college.

one of my best friends posted to CC when she got into her ED school this year. it was her first post and she only made the account to contribute to the stats thread but I identified her really easily because her username was her nickname and her stats just all matched up. then I told her to think of better usernames in the future so people couldn’t identify/stalk her lol.

I think I’ve probably been in the same room with CC posters for my BS MD interviews because it’s a small group of people who apply to those and surely some of us interviewed the same day. I also think half of Columbia SHP is on CC. but I’ve only found one person from my class online.

There are some summer programs that people talk about on here and the ones accepted end up meeting in real life. I was supposed to go to a study abroad program that several CCers got accepted into, but my chance at meeting them was thwarted by some academic conflicts/other stuff. One day perhaps :)

Hopefully when I am visiting colleges on the East Coast this summer or in senior year, I will be able to meet up with maplesurrup, Yank, and other major CC-ers of the CC HSL Golden Age.
