<p>The closer I get to college the more nervous and excited I am. I am coming all the way from Oklahoma and don't know anyone at Wake but I feel as if a lot of people already do. I can't go to any of the campus days so am pretty much going in blind for freshman orientation. I just want to make sure that meeting people and making friends fast isn't a problem or anything...?</p>
<p>Everyone is in the same boat. Everyone worries about that, I know I did and I’m sure I could find a post I made on here about that very same thing. Truth is, you’ll be laughing at that concern a few weeks into semester. Be friendly to everyone, smile, try new things, and always leave your door open. Simple as that.</p>

<p>I came in from NJ knowing literally no one. I didn’t go to any of the campus days, either. People at Wake are, by nature, super super friendly. Don’t be worried at all.</p>
