<p>I guess it kind of depends on the school, but if you meet all the requirements to get into a school, do they automatically accept you? Like if you are in-state (or out-of-state), and you meet the requirements, plus more. </p>
<p>Just a random question I was wondering about while watching Accepted. xD Yeah, I know, lame, but whatever.</p>
<p>Some lower ranked schools have automatic acceptance criteria, but for the most part each app gets compared to the rest of the applicants and last year’s class to determine admissions. Generally the college has a set of basic requirements (i.e. how many classes in each subject) that everyone must have but as far as gpa, test scores, etc most schools don’t do that.</p>
<p>Schools on the Common App are supposed to be holistic.</p>
