Meeting TAG requirements before transfer

Hi everyone,

Thank you in advance for your replies.

I received my acceptance to UCSD with a TAG. The agreement states that I must "pass subject requirements with grades of 'C' or better" for this semester.

I know this is probably a silly question, but if the class is NOT UC-Transferable, and I receive less than a C, would this cancel my TAG?

Also, if I dropped the class and received a "W", would this cancel my TAG? I hope these questions aren't posted somewhere else - I couldn't find anything when I did a search.

This would also place me at 11 units - under the full-time status requirement. I have no idea if that matters. I will also have IGETC completed, and will have well over 60 units.

Thanks again! =)

For future reference for anyone searching for information pertaining to this thread - I called UCSD admissions office, and they told me that as long as it doesn’t put you below the 60 unit requirement for transfer, and as long as it doesn’t affect your GPA (Which it will not as long as it is a W), it will not affect your admission. You must, however, send them an e-mail through Triton Link letting them know that you dropped the class, but it will not affect your admission.

Does someone know if you haven’t finished the English courses by the end of the Fall semester but you are taking them and finishing them during the spring semester will this cancel the Tag agreement
