meh..sorry, another chance post...

So I'm freaking out, basically (as are a bunch of kids, so nothing new..) haha. I thought maybe I would ask here rather than the main chances thread.

ELC applicant...from fairly affluent area, public hs w/ API around 850.

SATs: 2180 (730 CR, 720 M, 730 W)
SAT2s: 770math2, 760chem, 760 USHist, 740 bio (ugh i wish they took more than 2 scores..)

ACT: 32 composite. 31 reading, 31 math, 33 science, 34 english, 11 on essay.

APs (i doubt they count much though?) 5euro, 5chem, 5bio, 5calcab, 4englang&comp, 4ushist

I'm super scared about GPA.
4.21 fully weighted 10-11 (though apparently the gpa that UCs post is the fully weighted one..?)
3.999 UC gpa
3.62 unweighted

2 APs 10th, 5 in 11th, 5 in 12th.

I screwed up 1st semester of 11th with 2As, 3Bs, 1 C in calc AB...(3.17 unweighted !!) and 2nd sem. sort of made up with 4As (A in calc) and 2Bs (3.67 unweighted). In 10th grade I had a B each semester, in hon pre calc (3.83 unweighted). 9th grade was fine.

hahah so yeah. ECs/essays are sufficient...I explained my stupid slip in grades also..I guess I'm looking for a definite answer, but obviously no one can determine that :). thanks!

I know this is meaningless but my GPA is so close to the same as yours. I have 4.30 weighted, 3.62 unweighted, 3.99 UC. It's just kinda funny. Anyway, you probably have a good chance.

haha how funny! good luck to you too! we'll see in spring what happens..
