Does anyone know anything about either Melamed or Teplow ? i've tried looking them up on bruinwalk but they aren't there. I'm thinking of taking one of the two for a fiat lux on medicine, but they might be new teachers so i don't know..

bump 10 char

■■■■ why would u ask about a prof for a fiat lux.

YEA DUDE HIS midterm was ****ING hard. its a 1-unit pass-no pass class…ud have to go out of ur way to fail.

■■■■ off this forum ur so annoying…or at least put everything in one thread so we can all ignore you easily.

i was just asking as to if they were interesting or not. sorry =/

aa6590 - you are a ******

freshmen usually don’t know the difficulty of any classes. why the heck would you bash on CalBearTH like that.

and if you find his boards annoying, you should ■■■■ here.

well calbear does make like 10 topics a day about teachers…it is pretty freakin annoying.

look at it this way: as much as we may refer you to bruinwalk, do not rely on it as a crutch. if a teacher isn’t listed there, why should that hinder you from taking the class? take it, see how the fiat lux is like from firsthand experience instead of relying on biased opinions from people who either got an A or did poorly in the prof’s class that they reviewed on bruinwalk.

you can always drop it if the fiat lux is not to your liking. asking us about new teachers, and relying on the opinion of say just one person who may have known Melamed or Teplow, is useless and just deprives you of what could be a great class.

I actually dropped my fiat lux the first quarter right after i found out we had to write a one page paper at the end. It doesn’t matter who the professor is…its a one unit p/np class. Lol and dude aa you were in the class too.

is anybody forgetting that fiat luxes ARENT GRADED? its P-NP…nobody will fail u unless u dont show up or dont do the work (prolly minimal). naturally, nobody wud post bruinwalk reviews. you can just drop it if it sucks…

go ****k urself confidentiality.
