Only one week away from april 13th
Has anyone heard anything yet?
Nope. We think that April 13th will be the release date.
That means they release on Friday! Only four more days of waiting.
Hopefully it’s the final decision and not the decision to go to the next round.
Lol yep. They did state that final decisions were April 13th. But historically, they have always done 2 rounds of decisions. Maybe this year they already did the first round decisions, but are waiting to send them all out together on 4/13
When I emailed about rounds, all they said was, “The April 13th date is the anticipated final notification for selected students.”

I was just checking their website again, and they updated their brochure (https://www.mskcc.org/sites/default/files/node/5607/documents/brochure_2018_updated_0.pdf is the link). Now it says May 7th is the notification date 
I don’t know what to make of that since @japadorean said they emailed them. ^^ when did you email?

I emailed them and they said April 13th. They also sent me the brochure, which said April 13th
Hmm…In that case, April 13th may be the notification for round 2 and May 7th for the final round.
April 13th, which means today…
I guess by now we should know they don’t stick to any date. They will inform when they are ready. I read the previous two years’ thread. Notifications never released according to deadline. We should sit back and relax and not worry about it. I don’t think anything will come out today, if history is any indication.
Got an email about half an hour ago saying that I had been moved on to round 2 and would hear back by April 26th… Fingers crossed!!!
My son got a similar email - posted below:
“This is to notify you that your application has been moved to the next phase of the review process. Status update notifications will be sent on April 26th. We appreciate your interest in the HOPP Summer Student Program and patience during the application and review process.
Thank you,
HOPP Summer Program”
I just got the email that my application was sent to the second round as well !

Same. I’m starting to doubt the selectivity of this first round screening though.
My daughter is also moved to 2nd round.
