Just looked at the link and it now says acceptance notifications on May 7th - ugh
Has anyone out there heard of anyone getting into the second round already ? Maybe there is just one round this year- does anyone know?
@Royalseahorse As far as I know, you are the first one I heard to not have received an email for first round decisions. Maybe check your spam folder? I would definitely email MSK since it seems that everyone should have received a notification by now.
Is the second round also an elimination round or is it pairing with professors?
I know two others advanced to the second round. I think it is still an evaluation round. It’s not possible to have so many advanced to the final round. Acceptance rate was 2%/3% in previous years. I don’t believe all of the acceptances are in this thread. I think this is a way for them to buy more time. My guess is the real second round notification is April 26 and then the final decision on May 7.

Just read last week’s email again. It said “
“Status update notifications will be sent on April 26th” so it is a status update, not decision notification. I think that is the date when they announce the “second round” candidates. We will need to wait until May 7 for final decision I guess.
My kid got the same email. All it says is that the application has been moved to the next phase. 4/26 will be status update
Does anyone know how many people got accepted last year?
