how do you guys go around memorizing the special trig angles? ie cos pie/3 = 1/2, etc.

there are so freakin many...any secrets you wanna share?

how do you guys go around memorizing the special trig angles? ie cos pie/3 = 1/2, etc.

there are so freakin many...any secrets you wanna share?

theres a simple way to memorize these... sin 0 = 0, sin pi/6 = 1/2, sin pi/4 = root2/2 ... if you see the trend you add one in the square root in the numerator while keeping the denominator at 2... and cos is opposite

If you've ever memorized the special 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 right triangles, you can also derive them from those.

Rhapsody in Green... That is what I'm doing... I'm too lazy to memorize those angles..
or.. plug in the calculator..

You don't have your calculator for parts of the test. There are so many tricks to memorizing the special angles. I use the root one mentioned above and also this weird hand one.
