I’ve always been kind of terrible at remembering names. For decades.

Most people of all ages have memory lapses/holes. I mean if young people didn’t wouldn’t everyone ace their school tests, etc.?!!!

I think that what you should be aware of are NEW lapses, new struggles, extended bouts of not being able to remember things short or long term…

Yea, name lapse (or lack of the right word) has always happened to me now and then. It just catches my attention more now that I’m older.

I remember reading years ago that people should not worry about Alzheimer’s when they can’t find their keys. It’s more a thing where Alzheimer’s patients look at their keys and don’t remember what to do with them.

My husband, a Neurologist, says this all the time. Not knowing where your keys are is one thing, not knowing what they are is entirely another.
