Men's BB team ranked in the AP top 25

for the first time since 1969 (ranked 25th).

Heck of a job by Carmody and the guys on the team after Coble (the team's best player) and Ryan (6th man) went down w/ season ending injuries.

Ranking likely won't last long since the B10 portion of the schedule is frontloaded; but a split against UI and MSU would do be a nice start in continuing building the resume for a Tourney bid.

Hopefully, the gridiron 'Cats will win on the 1st and join the hardwood 'Cats in the rankings.

The women's BB team at 11-2 (2-0 in the B10) is also looking at a possible Tourney bid as well.

Or you could be insanely optimistic and insist we’re gonna run the table and win the tournament!

Certainly never saw this coming.

Men’s basketball at 11-1 and ranked 25th nationally?

Women’s basketball at 12-2 after the win yesterday against Michigan and garnering votes in the AP and ESPN/USA polls?

Closing out the football year at the Outback Bowl?

Suddenly a win over Auburn in Tampa New Year’s Day seems - dare I suggest it - possible.

da*n…lost to illinois in OT!!
