<p>The basketball site (<a href="http://web.mit.edu/bball/www/recruits.htm%5B/url%5D">http://web.mit.edu/bball/www/recruits.htm</a>) doesn't really give any info that would be useful in determining how difficult it would be to make the team.</p>
<p>To my knowledge, all of the players on the team played basketball in high school, although I really don't know if they were the best at their respective high schools. The team is okay; they won about half their games last season (and were close on most of the other half -- all the teams in the conference are approximately on the same skill level).</p>
<p>Again, my advice would be to fill out the recruit info form and contact the coach. The thing to keep in mind above all is that getting into MIT is the hard part; making a team is comparably a walk in the park.</p>
