Men's shoes

I think Sperry’s are God’s gift to earth. Honestly, I love them.

I only wear running shoes like once a week when I do cardio. Other than that I usually put only wear casual shoes.

weirdos… 10 char

Sperry’s are definitely God’s gift to earth. I have a few pairs. You can wear them with almost anything, and they are so comfortable. It is definitely a great investment for any war"bro"be.

Those slipons don’t look that bad, I wouldn’t buy them though unless they had another color besides checkered.

Polo boat shoes are a pretty good buy. They’re comfortable and they last.

cabhax - I’m with you on the plaid ones. I think they’re ugly. I always get solid colors.

Boat shoes are lame.

I wear Nike’s or UA running shoes.

That’s it.

Boat shoes are nice because they’re classy, casual and versatile. You can wear them at the pre-game, in class or to your internship.

Once you, 4point3forty, get a little older (I’m guessing you’re still in high school), you’ll start ditching some of your high school wardrobe. Why will you ditch your wardrobe? Because you don’t want to look like an annoying high schooler.

The weird thing is that it’s not that hard to discern high schoolers from college students based on wardrobes. High schoolers wear clothes that are obnoxious, with huge logos that make them look like walking billboards. Brands like AE, A&F, Aero and Hollister are way too popular.

College students, on the other hand, tend to wear more discrete clothes that don’t scream ‘look at me, look at what I’m wearing!’ College students tend to have more mature wardrobes. Casual shoes, including boat shoes, are preferred over athletic shoes.

Great assessment CRS1909, when I first got to college I was wearing all of that “obnoxious clothing” and I still wear some today but only if they don’t have the huge logos and writing on them. I definitely had a wardrobe change during college because it was a different environment changing from high school to college. You can tell who the freshmen are just by looking at them.

Your post reminded me of this commercial:

I bought the first kind of boat shoes in gray BTW.

never thought I’d see the day where wearing comfortable shoes is derided as ‘high school’

I’ve never paid to be an advertisement in my whole life. I agree with you, that’s completely stupid.

But it has nothing to do with shoes.

If you wear Sperry’s you look like an old preppy white guy. Nuff said.

Where did he say that “wearing comfortable shoes is derided as ‘high school’ ?” He was talking about “obnoxious” clothes. I’m going to assume you don’t have a pair of topsiders because who else would say they aren’t comfortable.
