<p>Our son has an anxiety disorder (OCD) that is best treated by weekly sessions with a therapist trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I am trying to find such a therapist near Grinnell, but not having luck. Based on what I am seeing, it looks like he would have to drive to Iowa City or Des Moines (and have a car to do this). </p>

<p>Hi! I’m a current student at Grinnell who actually has GAD and OCD. There is many therapists in town at Poweshiek Mental Health Center. Actually Grinnell is changing their mental health to have full time staff on campus, which we don’t have this year. I’m not sure if it is exactly what your are looking for. I don’t utilize local services.</p>
<p>Eidda, do you know if any of the therapists in town have much experience with CBT? Or any names you could suggest? Hope you are doing well!</p>
