I'm just wondering, for the people who have depression/anxiety/bipolar/etc, how are you handling it?

I've always had problems with anxiety, and college just completely knocked me off balance. I did go to campus health/counciling, and I have a scrip for Zoloft, which from hearing about all the weight gain issues and the severe side effects for the first couple weeks, I don't know if I want to take.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

(My grades aren't suffering, they're actually improving for some reason. So that's not an issue yet.)

I'm really stressed out over college right now. I hate it here, I really, really miss high school. I just don't feel like working and I'm seeing my grades slip and it really bothers me inside.

I also have anxiety issues. I HATE HATE HATE HATE college...but I didn't really like high school either. At least in high school I was guaranteed to see my best friend every day and also see another buddy who could always try to bring my spirits up. However, both of them are still there--one's a district employee and the other is a sophomore. The pro of college is jazz band...but that's only one day per week.
