Does anyone feel psychologically exhausted after reading, or am I the only victim?

After reading, I have a tendency to physically meander around my cubicle; to be blatant, I need a hiatus after I lift my eyes from any text.

No. Reading refreshes and excites me. I think it’s all in my head though. Yours too.

It depends on the book. Grapes of Wrath, while I am enjoying it, is somewhat exhausting me. Cat’s Cradle did the opposite.

depends on book but the book i’m reading right now is making me go to sleep

Grapes of Wrath made me go to sleep.

I don’t really get exhausted. If I like the book then it’s refreshing and exciting and I just want to keep reading. If I don’t…like it’s a textbook or a book required for a class that I just can’t stand…I usually just fall asleep before I even get mentally exhausted.

It was tiring staying up finishing Harry Potter books and Twilight in like one night but…it was physically tiring…not mentally.

omg, how long did seclude60 post for???

From 12/2008 to 1/2009.

I feel like I’m just posting here because I’m too lazy to … not post here. idk, It’s like I don’t even want to, but just do.

quick question: did warts seriously think I was AOM??? I mean, I thought she was a plant, but … idk haha

lol jk

no, i’ve never had this problem. even with the books that i disliked or had to read for class.

No idea, you’ll have to ask her.

I just have a penchant for reading things into people’s identities that may or may not be true. Hence my assumption that you are AOM.

EDIT: As for the actual thread topic. No, books never make me tired. Unless I’m carrying them around.

lol that would be cool, but sadly impossible, at least based on what I remember. I don’t remember going onto a college forum for a month in 2008
(I was obviously sleep walking)

I assumed you copied my name, so it’s all good

Haha no did you ever play Pokemon ruby/sapphire?

lol no. I never had a gameboy [color]
