Mention Youtube "success" to colleges?

So, I have a youtube channel that i've made since 2006. It has nearly 3000 subscribers and over 500,000 video views total ( despite most of those views are from anime related vids).

However I do have some funny, interesting, & clever school video projects that I uploaded. I was wondering if it was worth telling colleges about this channel of mine.
(I'm not a partner, but I will be making short skits later & will hopefully monetize them.)

I think a hobby for making videos would be a great thing to include in an essay. But I don’t think it would be useful to include anywhere else, unfortunately.

The subscriber and total views statistics aren’t as significant as how much time and effort you have invested in the channel. It sounds like maintaining the site is an ongoing hobby of yours that does take a substantial amount of time - at least a couple hours each week. If this is the case, I would likely include it on your application.

A word of caution about content however - be sure that the vidoes on the site reflect positively on you and your community. You must assume that adcoms will visit the site out of curiosity. If anything on the site might be offensive to an adcom, do not include it. I help with alumni interviews of applicants and was flabbergasted at one student who submitted an email address similar to billysmokespot@…
