<p>I run a blog where I post reviews on music (classical and commercial). I was wondering if I should mention this on my application, probably in the additional info section. Will colleges view this negatively because my blog doesn't really cover educational topic?</p>
<p>It certainly won’t be a negative on your app and most schools will consider it a positive. It’s definitely worth mentioning either in the Activities section, if you have space, or in Additional Information. It’s fine to provide a link.</p>
<p>It’s really cool if you mention it and I strongly recommend it. It might/would also distinguish you as an applicant.</p>
