Mentioning College Courses Planned/In Progress?

Okay, so I’m really confused.

First off, I’m going to an Early College High School. When I graduate, I’ll be literally one class away from an AA degree from the community college…

Anyway, here’s the thing: Do I list the college classes that I’m currently taking or plan to take?

(I’m not concerned about the classes I’ve already taken here, since those all show up on my transcript.)

The Common App says this:

“If a course grants the student both high school and college credit, then the student should list the course in the Current Year Courses section since it satisfies a high school requirement. However, if a student takes a course through a college that is independent of the high school (i.e. no high school credit is received), then the course should be listed in the Colleges & Universities section.”

My courses DO grant both high school and college credit, so it follows that I would list it under Current Year Courses.

HOWEVER:

I’m not sure that quite works…

In the Current Year Courses section, if I want to add a course, it has the following sections:

-Title (name of class, easy enough)
-Level (This is a drop down menu with the following options: Accelerated, Advanced Placement (AP), Cambridge Advanced (AICE), Dual Enrollment, Honors, International Baccalaureate (IB), Regents. However, I don’t see an option for College…unless that’s dual enrollment. Unless there’s a different explanation to this whole thing, I’ll go with that.)
-Schedule

The schedule one is the tricky thing. For example, one of my classes is Sociology. I’m taking it in the first semester, so it makes sense to mark it as that (the options are First Semester, Second Semester, and Full Year).
HOWEVER, I’m supposed to get full credit for the course (Even though I only took it for one semester, it counts as a full year of high school; so one semester of a foreign language at the college counts as a year of foreign language at the high school). This being the case, am I supposed to mark it as Full Year, instead of First Semester?

The other thing of concern is where the Common App says, “…then the course should be listed in the Colleges & Universities section.”

This implies that I could hypothetically list my college courses in the Colleges & Universities section…but I can’t. There’s no room for me to mention ANY of the classes I’ve taken in previous years, whether it was at the high school, college, or otherwise.

So what are they talking about?

(You know, for the most part, the Common App is straightforward, and I’m glad for that. This is the only problem I’m having with it.)
