<p>I have a question about applying. It would make sense that the students applying for the honors program would probably have great test scores, GPA's etc. Would you need to apply for honors in order to be considered for merit aid or would it be possible/likely that you could just apply with high scores,etc and get merit aid without going for honors?</p>
<p>I don’t think it makes a difference - you will still be considered for merit without applying to honors. According to the GW website, “approximately 20% of students admitted to GW receive a Presidential Academic Scholarship”.</p>
