Merit Aid for Regular Decision applicant

MY D was accepted a couple of weeks ago, but no mention of merit award was made in her acceptance letter. She's gotten about 10 - 12k per year from a couple of other schools and the aid was noted in her acceptance letter. Does this mean no money from URI or will it come in a separate letter?? Has anyone else who's gotten merit aid and was a regular decision applicant heard as part of their acceptance letter?
Thanks!

I got a 10000 scholarship with my acceptance letter

Thanks for your response. Did you apply EA or RD?

no problem, early action

Merit scholarships were only for early action applicants. I got $16,000, which is the most I’ve heard of anyone getting so far.

I applied regular decision and got a $30,000 merit scholarship; $3750 a semester This was all written out in my acceptance letter.

does anyone know when we hear from fin. aid?

i got a $50,000 scholarship today, so they definitely give merit to rd applicants

My daughter is starting to look at URI for their international engineering program. Aren’t the centennial scholarships renewed every year? Also, does anybody know anything about this program, it looks really interesting.

Called Fin. Aid office this morning. They said packages to be mailed out by end of this month, but would be posted on our e-campus accts. beforehand.
