My son just got his acceptance from RIT. We were really hoping for/counting on merit aid based on what we’d read on the school site, but there was no mention of this that I can see in his packet. Could this be coming separately? If you or your child received merit aid, where was this indicated?

My S did. He actually got two envelopes from RIT yesterday. I’m not sure if the merit awards were in the same envelope as the acceptance materials, or the second one which had more general financial aid info.
I think it was included with the primary acceptance letter/folder, etc.
Posts from last year mentioned a merit letter came about a week later. My daughter’s acceptance letter that just came on Friday didn’t include one.
DS got acceptance yesterday but no mention of aid (merit or not).
