Merit Aid

Answered my own question…Dean Scholarship $15,000 received today. Yay!

We were surprised too as were told Brandeis gives no merit aid- no FA application here- received 15K/yr Dean’s Scholarship. Still out of reach since total cost is 61,400…

@mama2021 & @collegesearch96 - what were the stats of the applicant if you don’t mind me asking?

D1 also received merit award. $17,000/year 4 years if maintain 3.0. Wow! Surprised. We’re in CA. Stats: 4.3wgpa, 3.98uw, SAT1 (superscored) 2200 (R 800, M 680, W 720), 2170 single sitting, SAT2: Eng 790, Hist 750, Bio 730; 5 AP exams so far, all 5’s, 4 yrs mock trial, 4 yrs debate, captain, many awards, great rec’s. However, she will be declining to attend UChicago (admitted EA) unless she gets into Yale.

I got the Dean’s Scholarship (15k/year) - 2000 SAT & 3.8 GPA - very surprised as I didn’t receive merit aid from schools that were slightly less selective than Brandeis (NEU and BU to be exact.)
