Merit Aid

So, have all of the merit aid notifications gone out, or just Renaissance? If I applied for merit aid but haven't heard anything, does that mean that I'm not being considered for any of the Rochester scholarships?

I am pretty sure they tell us when we get out acceptance letters (or if we get our acceptance letters).

That's sort of what I thought, but I was really worried for a bit.

Thanks, and good luck!

they will most likely send you your award letter (whether merit or need based or both) a week or two after you get your acceptance letter. I applied ED and got mine 3 weeks after the aceptance letter...so i'm assuming its the same for RD.

My middle son applied to Rochester 2 years ago. His financial aid package came in the same letter as his acceptance. He was not a candidate for the Renaissance so he didn't hear anything from them at all until late March or early April. He was awarded both merit aid and need based aid but elected to go elsewhere.

i'm an ed acceptee, i got my financial aid letter but i didn't get my merit scholarships yet...does the rochester national grant count as a merit award? cause i need more money...
