I'm applying to Kenyon ED this fall- I'm not too concerned with getting in, but do you think I'll qualify for any sort of scholarship? I would study theatre and poli sci.
I'm top 20 in a class of 350ish.
My GPA is 3.6, but NC does things differently- 4.0= 96+, and a 92 is a B, 84 is a C. I've made two C's by these standards, but only A's and B's on a ten point scale.
I have a 32 ACT (36R, 33E, 31S, 27M).
I'll take 8 or 9 APs before I graduate. Senior year is AP Euro, AP Gov, AP Psych, Theatre III, Honors Genetics, AP Lit, AP World, and a few more honors science classes and maybe another AP.
My EC's- I'm dual-enrolled at an online high school, NC School of Science and Math and have taken classes there like International Relations and Intro to Western Political Thought. I've done four years of theatre (stage manager, lead actor, student leader) four years of dance, a year of marching band/winterguard, a year of student government, a year of tutoring, and I marshalled at my online school's graduation.
I'll have nice recs and my common app essay will be good. Also I'm from rural NC. Thanks for your time!

Merit aid is given to attract “top talent” in RD – people who don’t qualify for aid but have the kind of profiles that Kenyon wants. There will be little incentive to give you merit aid, even though they will say they consider ED people, because Kenyon knows you would attend anyway.

Do you think I could get merit aid RD then?

They advertise that those who win merit aid have average stats of 3.9 unweighted gpa and 33 ACT. so that is the 50%
